The SSI Altitude Diving Course consists of one (1) Theory Class.

Theory Class

These Knowledge Development session will teach you how to analyze the oxygen content, anticipate the risk involved with oxygen, and how to plan your dives accordingly.

Course Content

  • Planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and dangers of mountain lake diving
  • Safety stops and emergency decompression procedures while diving at higher altitudes
  • Special equipment needed for altitude diving
